“In the early morning hours of December 28, 2013, my son Craig Williams stopped at a neighborhood store to buy some snacks, when he was approached by several men and gunned down. While his murder is unsolved, word on the streets is that he was mistaken for someone else.

Craig, my only child, left behind two young children who will never get the opportunity to know their father. My life will never ever be the same, I feel as if I am in continuous nightmare and I can't wake up. I became a Survivor Fellow with Everytown Survivor Network last year to be able to share my son with the world and to work towards preventing unnecessary killings by guns. I will never stop telling his story because my memories and his story are all I have left. I Will #HonorWithAction Every Single Day! In the words of Robert Frost - I have "Miles to Go Before I Sleep".”
